With a diverse background ranging from youth care in Amsterdam, she knows how to make unexpected and unique connections between people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether young people or adults, everyone is allowed to be themselves in her trainings. Mechteld creates a safe and open atmosphere in which people dare to be vulnerable and can make real contact. Her incisive approach ensures that she quickly sees where communication gets stuck and she knows how to effectively clear up misunderstandings. Her humour and passion for music add an extra dimension to her training sessions, in which she always strives for connection and understanding.

Mechteld’s DISC training courses are a true voyage of discovery into personal behaviour and communication. Besides team training sessions with DISC, she also offers LinkedIn training sessions, for example, in which participants learn how to present themselves effectively. What someone says and how this is meant is central and can always be traced back to the person. For team training, her focus is on group dynamics and addressing any stagnations or problems within the group. DISC is therefore a great tool to start with for these trainings. Mechteld likes to work with groups of 15 participants on average, but effortlessly adapts her approach to both larger and smaller groups. Her trainings are known for creating awareness, safety and a fast pace. She puts her finger on the sore spot and ensures that participants go home full of inspiration and enthusiasm.
